Prior to 2006 Harvest From the Sea,
San Francisco has had no traditional County Fair. City fields
are used primarily for football and baseball, and there are
plenty of animals at the Zoo, but it’s no secret San Francisco
is not an agricultural community. However, San Francisco Bay
hosts seals and sea lions and fish and crustaceans and Aquaculture
of monumental proportions!
So … in the Spring of 2006, San Francisco County Fair
* Harvest From The Sea will celebrate life in and on San Francisco
Bay.
The management of HFTS hopes you will join the fun by participating
in this first-ever, first-annual traditional San Francisco County
Fair!
