Voice Infrastructure Firm VocalPoint Names New Board Member

VocalPoint Technologies, a voice technology company that provides infrastructure to enhance voice-enabled Web content, said it has appointed Kent Godfrey to its board of directors. Mr. Godfrey is the chairman and CEO of Frictionless Commerce. Prior to that, he was chairman and CEO of Andromedia. Investors in VocalPoint include the Ignite Group, SVAngels, Bain & Company's San Francisco Partners, and Telecom Italia.
