Our new approach to chiropractic care began with a single patient Camber is building the first national brand of chiropractic care. This is a major undertaking, but attainable because we're filling a definite need in the marketplace. This need was identified quite simply by looking at back and neck pain from the patient's perspective. And what patients really want is short-term treatment, focused on the source of their pain, so it is more effective and economical. They want caring and efficient service from their doctors and the attentive support staff; convenience; and an attractive, contemporary environment. Putting these patient needs first and foremost is the foundation on which a group of prominent doctors established Camber Chiropractic. At the same time, we are doing what no other company in this arena has done before. We are freeing the doctors to be doctors, not administrators, by adding highly trained staff at each clinic.
Living up to our motto: We Treat You Better. Extended hours are critical to busy people. This enables us to offer treatment continuously from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. We also keep our offices open year round, apart from Sundays and holidays. Working with a noted Los Angeles architect, we have created pleasant, contemporary clinic environments. We offer facilities and equipment that are state-of-the-art. Good care starts the minute you step in the door. A
sound foundation to build on. We have over 150 years of expertise in a variety of related industries. Chiropractic and other healthcare segments; consumer and institutional marketing, advertising and merchandising; operations; finance, information technology; and risk management. We came to Camber from Aetna, Andersen Consulting, Blue Cross, ChiroView, Disney, GE Capital, IBM, Insignia, Kaiser, Monsanto, Sheraton Corporation, and Willis Caroon. Camber Companies, LLC was established in April, 1998. We were funded by Kohlberg & Company, one of the country's most prestigious investment firms. Building
business by investing in each practice. This requires a team effort, with chiropractors and business professionals combining their collective skills. With the support of Camber professionals, the chiropractors establish the model for their individual offices, including appropriate treatments and long-term health goals. This team spirit extends, of course, to our relationship with patients. A dedicated team of Camber personnel, consisting of sales, operations, and chiropractic support, operates in each local area. The local team is backed by regional and national operations, and marketing resources. Over time, the Camber Chiropractic office will come to be known as a professional resource that consistently meets the needs of the marketplace.
More than a good idea. It's working. The campaign has already elicited thousands of phone calls and visits to our Web site. In all, our message will be seen and heard more than 350 million times by our target markets. Most importantly, people are responding enthusiastically to the concept of short-term treatment, extended office hours, larger support staffs, and doctors who can focus entirely on the patient's physical well-being.
